My Not-So-Fairy Tale

Once upon a time in Northwest Ohio (Toledo and surrounding area), it began to snow.
And it snowed, and it snowed, and it snowed.
And the snow began to accumulate.
After going out in the afternoon, the snow needed to be shoveled.
So Jay got out the snowblower and started working.
On the last row of the driveway, a thump came from the snowblower.
It could be a chunk of ice. It could be a rock. It could be a number of things.
But what was it????????
MY CELL PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's what my cell phone looks like now, after going through the snowblower.
Needless to say, that night we had to go get a new cell phone. Luckily though, the snowblower was ok, and still works.
I think it's time to head south and get away from this snow and ice!!

Christmas #3 (with Graham, Jenn, and Addy)

Graham, Jenn, and Addy came over to celebrate Christmas. Better late than never!!!

Addy opening her little stocking.

Oh my!! My own little dog!!
Don't worry Uncle Jay, I can help you open it if you can't. I've already opened it a few times at home.

Addy rocking in my rocking chair my grandma had for me when I was little.

I love this Christmas thing!!!

We also celebrated Graham's birthday.

Addy didn't want any of her birthday cake, but she was interested in Daddy's

Addy's New Friend

Graham and Addy stopped by on their way home from Ann Arbor.
Addy got to meet her new friend. Elmo Live.
Elmo talks. tells stories, sits down and stands up, blows kisses, sneezes, and moves. He's really something. We've had a great time playing with him, even when Addy's not around.

Elmo is so funny. Addy can't stop smiling/laughing.
